Scale is for a Society whose basics hold and whose ambition has outgrown them: a system replacement, a multi-country programme, a step change in the volume of funds passing through the books.

It is also the emergency tier. Where an emergency or a fraud shock destabilises a finance function, a two-person team deploys within 72 hours, stabilises the control environment and produces an action plan within ten working days.

Advisers work alongside the Society's own staff throughout. Nothing is delivered by an adviser that a counterpart has not shadowed.
