Sustain

Make it last.

Sustain exists because capacity strengthening fails quietly. A manual is written, an adviser leaves, and eighteen months later the old practice is back.

This tier plans the exit from the beginning and then checks. Follow-up assessments three to six months after close confirm whether the new practices held, and where they did not, coaching resumes.

Longer term, the Finance Development Competency Network keeps a Society's finance staff connected to peers facing the same problems in other countries.
