What the Centre is

All 191 National Societies are eligible to request. When a National Society manages its finances with integrity, more resources reach local humanitarian work and fewer route around the Society through intermediaries.

Until now, finance support was fragmented and ad hoc, delivered by individual experts one country at a time. The Centre replaces that with a structured, scalable model available to every Society regardless of size or income.

The Centre puts the Global Service Delivery Model into practice: specialist support organised once for the whole network, instead of built country by country. It is hosted by the Norwegian Red Cross and opens formally at the ifrc general assembly, late 2026.
