Regional briefing in Nairobi opens the Africa pre-launch

Finance directors and secretaries general from fourteen focus countries met in Nairobi for the first of five regional pre-launch briefings.

The agenda was narrow: what the Centre delivers, what it costs a Society, and how a request is handled. The contribution bands drew the most discussion, and the point that most Societies in the region pay nothing for standard service delivery was the one participants asked to have in writing.

Four Societies opened requests during the week. Three more have since followed.

The remaining briefings ran across Asia Pacific, MENA, Europe and the Americas through the first half of the year.
